Turkish coffee is a brewing method that results in a strong, thick cup of coffee. It is prepared in a small, long-handled pot called a cezve (pronounced jazz-vay) using very finely ground coffee beans. The coffee grounds are not filtered out of the final beverage, which gives Turkish coffee its signature thick, sludge-like consistency.
